The HerRise MicroGrant awards $1,000 each month to a woman-owned small business in the United States. Offered by HerSuiteSpot, the program is designed to support under-resourced women entrepreneurs, including women of color, by providing funding to help their businesses grow.
What You Can Win
HerSuiteSpot awards one $1,000 grant each month. Recipients are selected by a committee and announced at the following month’s HerSuiteSpot First Friday Mixer. Winners do not need to attend the event in person.
Only selected applicants are notified. If you don’t hear back, your application was not chosen for that month.
Who Can Apply
To qualify for the HerRise MicroGrant, your business must meet all three requirements:
- Be at least 51% woman-owned.
- Be currently registered in the United States.
- Have less than $1 million in gross revenue.
Businesses from any industry can apply. Previous recipients have represented a wide range of fields, including tea, beauty, education, technology, and professional services.
How to Apply
To apply, complete the online application and share your business story, including what your business does and what makes it unique.
Applications are accepted every month. To be considered for the current month’s grant, you must submit your application by 11:59 p.m. on the last day of the month.
Cost
There is a $15 non-refundable application fee, which helps cover the cost of reviewing and processing applications.
